Description
The Blue Lion is a quick and simple game for two players that can be learned in no time. Published in 2011, it was designed by Bruno Cathala and Sylvain Duchêne, and is based on a novel. The goal is to score points by creating special combinations of tiles, each showing an icon of either Arsène Lupin, Lady X, the Blue Lion diamond, or a police inspector. Players take turns adding tiles to the front or back of a line, without looking at the back, and can switch, move, or flip tiles to change the line. Scoring combinations can be formed by sandwiching a tile between two others, or by creating a row of three tiles showing the Blue Lion. The first player to score seven points wins the game, which typically takes around 15 minutes to play. With its simple rules and fast gameplay, The Blue Lion is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a quick challenge.
