Description

Beowulf: A Board Game is a thrilling tabletop experience for 3 to 6 players that delves into the Viking Age, inspired by one of Europe's oldest epic poems. Players take on the challenge of building their kingdom's influence and power by trading cards, scheming, and raiding each other. The game is set over 90 minutes, with rules of normal complexity that are easy to learn for those familiar with board games. As players navigate the game, they draw cards from the WYRD Deck, facing monsters, events, and hardships that can either hinder or help their progress. They can use their DAED cards to repel or augment these effects, and even raid other players to gain an advantage. The goal is to collect Trophies by defeating monsters, which serve as a counter for their kingdom's greatness. The player with the most Trophies at the end of the game emerges victorious, making for a fun and competitive experience.
