Description
In The Estates, you're an investor looking to make a profit by developing buildings in a new urban area. The City Council has approved a zoning map, but with the promise of bigger profits, investors are ignoring the rules and building wherever they can. The goal is to have the highest-valued buildings, but be careful - if a row isn't completed, the buildings in that row will be torn down, resulting in a huge loss. Players take turns bidding for building pieces and placing them in The Estates to their advantage. A game typically lasts 40 to 60 minutes, and with easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right in. With 2 to 5 players, you'll need to negotiate and strategize to come out on top. Will you focus on completing rows to score positive points, or try to sabotage your opponents' plans? The Estates is a game of city building and negotiation, where the investor with the best strategy will win.
