Description
Sekigahara: The Unification of Japan is a game of strategy and loyalty, where two players take on the roles of Ishida Mitsunari and Tokugawa Ieyasu, vying for control of Japan in 1600. The game is won by cultivating the loyalty of your allies and deploying them effectively, with the goal of gaining a defection from your opponent's ranks. Cards represent loyalty and motivation, and without a matching card, an army will not enter battle. The game is designed to offer an historically authentic experience, with a unique mechanic that eliminates the need for dice. Instead, cards and blocks are used to represent armies and motivation, creating a suspenseful and tactical experience. With a variable setup and concealed information, each game feels fresh and challenging, requiring players to manage competing priorities and make strategic decisions to emerge victorious.
