Description

In Maeshowe: an Orkney Saga, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure, either solo or with a friend, as you navigate the challenges of being trapped in a medieval tomb. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll manage your hand of cards, making tough decisions about which ones to play and when, all while keeping a close eye on your resources, including health, food, and cards left in your deck. Your goal is to escape the tomb by removing rubble, which you can do by playing sets of excavation cards. But be careful, as the timing of your moves is crucial, and running out of health or cards can be deadly. With threats like collapsing passages and hunger, you'll need to stay sharp to survive. Luckily, you might also stumble upon some much-needed relief, like a good night's sleep or a visit from Odin's raven. Will you make it out of the tomb alive, or will your bodies be discovered by archaeologists centuries later?
