Darksiders: The Forbidden Land is a cooperative board game where 1 to 5 players take on the roles of their favorite Horsemen, battling together through a new storyline in the Darksiders universe. With easy-to-learn rules, players can dive right into the action, managing their cards to move, attack, and upgrade their characters. Each Horseman has unique abilities, so whether you play as War, Death, Fury, or Strife, you'll experience the game differently every time. The customizable decks of cards for each Rider add to the game's replayability, making each playthrough a fresh adventure. As you fight your way through hordes of monsters to defeat the end boss, you'll need to use your cards strategically to succeed. You can discard cards to attack with melee or ranged weapons, move your Rider up to three hexes, or use special abilities like summoning aid in battle. The game includes a Campaign Book with over 20 levels, broken into multiple scenarios that can be played in sequence or tackled individually for a shorter gaming session. With modular hex-tile game boards and a variety of enemies, the game offers a high level of replayability, and the possibility of fan-created custom levels and scenarios adds to the excitement.
