Description
Risk 2210 A.D. is a futuristic twist on the classic Risk game, where machines of destruction, or MODs, battle for control of the world, sea, and even the moon. Human commanders lead these mechanized troops, each with their own special powers and abilities, which are played out through Command cards. This adds a new layer of strategy to the game, as players must navigate not only territorial battles but also economic considerations, using energy to purchase Command cards, bid for turn order, and hire new commanders. With a five-turn game limit, Risk 2210 A.D. plays out in about 3 hours, making it a more manageable commitment for players. The game still retains the core flavor of Risk, but with added depth and complexity, making it appealing to both new and classic Risk fans. The combination of area majority, auction, and dice rolling mechanics creates a thrilling experience for 2 to 5 players.
