Teotihuacan is expanding its borders and you're invited to join the journey. This modular expansion, Teotihuacan: Expansion Period, introduces a wealth of new options to enrich your gameplay experience. With the introduction of obsidian, a powerful new resource, you'll have more opportunities to perform special actions and speed up your gameplay. The new Mansion action board replaces the Palace board, giving you fresh ways to climb temples and power up your workers. Meanwhile, the addition of Altars and Shamans brings a new dimension to the game, with these powerful pieces moving counter-clockwise and performing their own set of actions. As you expand the empire, you'll have access to a new Empire board, complete with opportunities to use warriors to reach new lands and turn them into settlers to advance on the Avenue of the Dead. With the Advanced Teotibot, your solo opponent is now compatible with all the new content, making for a more challenging and immersive experience. You'll also discover new and powerful Major Discoveries, collect sets of up to 11 masks with special mask tiles, and encounter more Priests and Priestesses, new Technology tiles, and Royal tiles.
