Description

Beowulf Legends: Terror at Heorot is a thrilling card game where 2 to 5 players take on the roles of loyal Thanes to King Hrothgar, trying to survive the nightly attacks of the monster Grendel in the Mead Hall of Heorot. With easy-to-learn rules, this 30 to 45 minute game is perfect for a fun and exciting evening with friends. Players draft cards to collect valuable gold coins and healing balms, all while trying to gain the honor of Heorot and sing songs to the glory of Hrothgar, hoping to be rewarded with one of his gifts. As the game unfolds over four rounds, each representing one night of feasting, Grendel's attacks become more and more intense, inflicting scratches on the players. But just when all hope seems lost, the fearless warrior Beowulf arrives to save the day, defeating Grendel and bringing peace back to Heorot. The player who has accumulated the most gold coins, despite Grendel's terror, is celebrated as a true hero of the Danes, while the player who suffered the most at Grendel's hands is laid to rest, their gold coins buried with them.
