Description

In Kupferkessel Co, you and your opponent take on the roles of witches or wizards, competing to collect the best ingredients for your magic potions. The game is set up with a 6x6 grid of ingredient cards, and each player starts with a random card and their token on opposite corners of the grid. On your turn, you move your token around the grid based on the number on the top card of your stack, and then pick up a new card from the row or column where you land. The goal is to collect sets of four matching ingredients, while avoiding getting stuck with only one of a particular ingredient, which will cost you penalty points. The game is easy to learn, but it requires a touch of memory and strategy to play well. You can see only the last ingredient you picked up on your stack of cards, so you need to remember what you've collected so far and plan your moves accordingly. The game ends when any row of the grid is empty, and then you score points based on the number of each type of ingredient you've collected. Some ingredients are worth more points than others, and collecting sets of four can give you a big bonus. With its unique blend of memory, set collection, and modular board mechanics, Kupferkessel Co is a fun and challenging game that's perfect for two players looking for a quick and exciting competition.
