The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Dread Realm is an exciting expansion that throws you into the heart of Middle-earth's darkness. As one of the brave heroes, you'll embark on a perilous journey to the fortress of Carn Dûm, the source of evil in the North kingdom. With the help of the Rangers of the North, Elves, and the remaining Dúnedain, you'll battle through the outer guard and delve into the darkened hallways of the fortress. But beware, the halls may seem quiet and empty at first, but they're actually filled with terrible sorcery and evil creatures waiting to strike. As you navigate through the halls of Carn Dûm, you'll need to use all your skills and strengths to overcome the challenges that lie ahead. With the help of hand management and variable player powers, you'll work cooperatively with your fellow player to prevent an ancient evil from returning to the world. The game is designed for 1 to 2 players and can be completed in 30 to 90 minutes, making it an immersive and thrilling experience.
