Description

Fortress Sevastopol is a wargame that drops you into the midst of World War II, where you'll take on the role of either the German or Russian forces battling for control of the Crimean Peninsula. As the German side, your goal is to advance quickly and capture the fortress of Sevastopol before winter sets in, while the Russians must hold out and counterattack when the time is right. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of around 120 minutes, Fortress Sevastopol is a game that's easy to dive into, but challenging to master. The game's area-impulse and dice rolling mechanics add a layer of strategy and unpredictability, making each playthrough unique. Designed by Christian Diedler and published in 2017, Fortress Sevastopol is a thrilling simulation of one of the war's most pivotal battles, and a must-play for fans of wargames and World War II history.
