Description

In CastleScape, you're part of a medieval Guild vying for power and riches by building a magnificent Castle for the King. With 2 to 4 players, you'll scheme and expand your influence, using workers, gold, and cunning to outmaneuver your opponents. The game is easy to learn, but with a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, you'll need to think strategically to succeed. As you build walls, gather recruits, and complete quests, you'll balance your actions with the risk of accruing Infamy and Corruption. The King's inspections will keep you on your toes, stripping Influence from Guilds with too much Infamy. With procedurally built castles, hidden objectives, and a dynamic Market, each game is unique, offering deep strategy and nearly unlimited replayability. Designed by Josh Horsley and released in 2023, CastleScape is a fresh take on the deck-building genre, combining area control, miniatures, and territory building for a fun and engaging experience.
