Description

The year is 1913 and the steamship SS Atlantica is on a voyage across the Atlantic Ocean, but the journey is not as calm as expected. Strange nightmares and rumors of dark shapes following the ship have the passengers on edge, and tensions rise when a body is discovered with signs of a strange ritual. Unfathomable is a game for 3 to 6 players where one or more players take on the role of human-Deep One hybrids, secretly sabotaging the efforts of the other players to sink the ship. As humans, players must work together to manage the ship's resources and fend off the Deep Ones, while trying to figure out who among them is a traitor. Each player's turn ends with a mythos card, representing a crisis that the group must resolve together, such as a hull leak or food rationing. Players must contribute skill cards to pass skill tests, but traitors can sabotage their efforts, making every decision a challenge. With its unique blend of teamwork, deduction, and hidden roles, Unfathomable is a thrilling game of survival and deception.
