Description

In La Marche du Crabe, you and your fellow player take on the roles of square crabs, a peculiar species that can't turn, but have discovered the secret to moving in a grid pattern by climbing on top of each other. This cooperative deduction game, designed by Julien Prothière and published in 2020, is all about working together to free your trapped buddies from under items left on the beach by careless humans, while avoiding enemies like brown crabs and lobsters. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be immersed in the game in no time, and with a playtime of just 10 to 15 minutes, you can fit in a game or two on a whim. As you navigate the beach, you'll need to communicate effectively with your partner to succeed, using a unique system of limited communication to overcome the challenges you'll face. With eleven scenario cards, the game offers a high level of replayability, and the scalable design ensures that the game will stay exciting and challenging as you play through it multiple times. Your goal is to free all eight of your crab buddies before the beach becomes too crowded with baddies, and you'll need to work together to achieve this, managing your shrimp life points carefully to avoid defeat. With its unique blend of cooperation, deduction, and grid movement, La Marche du Crabe is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for playing with a friend.
