Description
In Pocket Galapagos, you're tasked with managing the delicate ecosystem of a lone island in the Galapagos chain, home to a diverse array of endemic species. As the sole player, you'll need to balance the populations of land and sea creatures, all while minimizing the impact of invasive species that threaten the island's ecological diversity. With a deck of multi-use cards, you'll use a combination of strategic planning and a bit of luck to bolster the populations and gain abilities. Each turn, you'll reveal five cards and make tactical decisions about which to play to the ocean, island, or invasive species. The goal is to score points and make it to the 10th turn without letting the invasive species get the best of you. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, Pocket Galapagos is a fun and challenging solo card game that's perfect for a quick gaming session.
