Description

Airborne Commander is a solitaire World War II game where you take on the role of a commander of the 101st Airborne Division, supporting the D-Day landings. With a starting deck of just a few men and officers, you must face off against the German deck and try to recruit more cards to build up your force for assaults against objectives. As you play, you'll earn points for defeating enemy cards and taking objectives, but be careful - combat can result in lost cards and a diluted deck, making for a tense "deck survival" experience. You'll have to weigh the cost of buying time with your troopers against suffering reverses to get more and better equipped men, and make tough decisions about which cards to assign to the battleground, support area, or reserve. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 minutes, Airborne Commander is a quick and thrilling game that challenges you to make strategic decisions as a solo player.
