Description
Spheres of Influence: Struggle for Global Supremacy is a free-for-all game where 2 to 8 players compete for control of the world's spheres of influence, capitals, and oil reserves. Each player takes control of one or more of the game's 8 mighty factions, depending on the number of players, and coordinates their efforts to outmaneuver their opponents. The game is set on a modern world map, and players start with a single territory, expanding aggressively from there. The game is divided into rounds, with each round consisting of a mobilization phase and a turn phase. Players take individual turns based on a random turn order, performing actions such as moving, attacking, or annexing territories. Combat is resolved using a simple dice mechanic, and players can use special cards to launch devastating attacks or deploy powerful units. The game typically lasts around 90 minutes, and the faction that controls the most spheres of influence at the end wins.
