Description

Dao is a quick and clever abstract strategy game for two players that's easy to learn but challenging to master. The game takes place on a small 4x4 board, where each player starts with their pieces aligned diagonally from the corners. With only one simple rule to follow, players can focus on outmaneuvering each other to achieve one of three winning conditions: forming a straight line, occupying all four corners, or creating a 2x2 square anywhere on the board. In just 10 minutes, you'll be fully immersed in the game, trying to outsmart your opponent and claim victory. Designed by Jeff Pickering and Ben VanBuskirk, Dao has been recognized for its excellence with a 2001 Mensa Select award. With its simple yet strategic gameplay, Dao is the perfect choice for a fun and fast-paced gaming experience.
