Description
In Shadow of the Sun, 3 to 4 players compete to spread their influence across the city of Hemloch as the long day draws to a close. With easy-to-learn rules, this 30-minute card game is all about strategic maneuvering and outwitting your opponents. Each player takes turns playing Minion Cards to add or remove markers from the city's 4 districts, all while navigating the challenges of the Day Cards. As the game unfolds over 8 days, players must balance their own ambitions with the need to disrupt their opponents' plans. With a range of Special Abilities and Actions to choose from, every turn is a chance to gain the upper hand. The game ends when one player emerges victorious, with the most markers in the districts and the highest score. Designed by John Clowdus and published in 2013, Shadow of the Sun is a fast-paced and engaging game of strategy and skill.
