Description

Magical Athlete is a thrilling racing game where 4 to 5 players compete as athletes with special powers. Designed by Takashi Ishida and published in 2003, this game is part of the fantasy and sports categories. The game rules are simple and can be explained quickly, making it easy for new players to jump in. Players start with seed money to draft a team of racers, each with unique powers that modify movement rules or give extra abilities. The game is all about strategy and a bit of luck, as players secretly choose a racer for each of the 4 or 5 races and then roll a dice to move their racer. The first two finishers score victory points, with more points awarded in later races. The player with the most victory points at the end wins.
