In the post-apocalyptic world of Badlands: Outpost of Humanity, you'll lead a small community of survivors fighting for their lives. The game is set in a desert-like world where the devastating effects of a nuclear war have left only radioactive ruins of cities behind. The massive use of biological and nuclear weaponry has turned people and animals into horrifying monsters, making survival a daily struggle. As the leader of your community, you'll have to undertake distant expeditions to explore abandoned locations, develop trade, and attack your enemies to protect your settlement and secure your influence in this ruthless world. With 2 to 4 players, a game of Badlands: Outpost of Humanity takes around 60 to 120 minutes to play, and the rules are of normal complexity, making it easy for board game enthusiasts to learn. Designed by Denis Plastinin and published in 2017, the game combines exciting mechanics like commodity speculation, dice rolling, hand management, and worker placement, making each playthrough a unique experience. As you navigate the dangers of this science fiction world, you'll need to balance exploration, trade, and combat to ensure the survival of your community. With its blend of adventure, exploration, and wargame elements, Badlands: Outpost of Humanity offers a thrilling experience for players looking for a challenging and immersive board game.
