Kamigami Battles: Rise of the Old Ones is a thrilling board game where you play as a powerful God from H.P. Lovecraft's mythos, defending your reign against rival Gods. With 2 to 6 players, you'll use your loyal warriors and disciples to reduce your opponents to 0 energy or be the first to reach 25 energy. You can even team up with a friend in a Team Match, working together to eliminate the opposing team's Main God. This 2022 game, designed by Rich Gain, introduces a new game mechanism called Artifacts, adding a fresh layer of strategy to the gameplay. With a playtime of just 45 minutes and normal complexity rules, it's easy to dive in and start playing, even if you're familiar with other board games. Rise of the Old Ones is a standalone game that's also compatible with other Kamigami Battles titles, offering plenty of opportunities for expansion and replayability.
