Description

The Quest for El Dorado: Heroes & Hexes is an exciting expansion that adds a new layer of challenge and strategy to the base game. With three new double-sided terrain tiles, curses are introduced, which can either hinder or help players on their quest. When a player lands on a demon space, they draw a curse token, which may force them to discard certain cards, move extra spaces, or even pick up a frustrating demon card that does nothing but get in the way. This expansion offers new ways to build your deck and gain advantages, including four new types of expedition cards and the ability to visit taverns to recruit heroes. Each player starts with a familiar, which has a unique power and one-shot bonus, adding an extra layer of depth to the game. With six suggested map set-ups and guidelines for creating your own, The Quest for El Dorado: Heroes & Hexes offers hours of thrilling adventure for 2 to 4 players.
