In Inca Empire, you take on the role of an Apu, a leader of one of the four regions, aiming to increase your status in the eyes of the divine emperor by expanding and improving the empire. You start with the manpower of your region and build roads, conquer neighboring regions, and gather resources to increase your power. As you add new regions to the empire and make improvements like terraces, garrisons, cities, and temples, you're rewarded with victory points. The game is a thrilling competition among 3 to 4 players, lasting around 90 to 120 minutes. With its normal complexity, it's easy for board game enthusiasts to learn and dive into. Your goal is to accumulate the most victory points before Pizarro arrives at the Inca capital of Cuzco, making you the ultimate winner.
