Description

In Elder Sign, you and up to seven friends take on the roles of investigators racing against time to stop the Ancient One from finding its way to Earth. The year is 1926, and the museum's collection of exotic curios and occult artifacts has unleashed supernatural forces that threaten to destroy humanity. As investigators, you must locate Elder Signs, the eldritch symbols used to seal away the Ancient Ones, by enduring adventures within the museum and its environs. With a countdown mechanism that brings the Ancient One ever closer, you'll need to use your tools, allies, and occult knowledge to stay sane and healthy as you explore. The game's clever dice mechanism pits your exploration against monsters and the difficulty of staying sane, all within a standard game duration of 90 minutes. Will you be able to seal the portals forever and save humanity, or will the Ancient One reduce the world to cinders?
