Description
Get ready to dive into the trenches of World War One in Trenchzone, a strategic game of attack and counterattack for two players. In this 60-minute game, you'll take on the role of a commander, navigating the muddy no-man's land and making tactical decisions to outmaneuver your opponent. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be able to focus on the action, using area movement, campaign cards, dice rolling, and card drafting to drive your troops forward. Your goal is to emerge victorious, either by driving your opponent out of one of their trench sectors or by eroding their morale through relentless artillery, gas attacks, and machine gun fire. As you set up your artillery positions, pillboxes, barbed wire, and squads, you'll need to think strategically about how to reinforce or reduce your sectors. But be prepared to adapt your battle plans as resources become available or your opponent makes their moves. With each turn, you'll have to decide whether to wait for reinforcements or take the initiative and advance across no man's land. Designed by Glen Kehoe and first published in 2010, Trenchzone is a thrilling wargame that challenges you to think like a commander and make the tough decisions that will lead you to victory. Will you be the one to advance to victory, or will your opponent outmaneuver you and claim the win?
