Description
The Waltzing Cat is a quick and clever game for two players that's all about deduction and strategy. With a playtime of just 5 to 10 minutes, it's easy to fit in a game or two, and the simple rules make it easy to learn. The game consists of eleven wooden blocks, each featuring two differently-colored cats on opposite sides, and players take turns pushing or pulling blocks to try and collect the most valuable feline faces. As players reveal new blocks, they can start to make connections and figure out which cats are hiding where. The goal is to collect the most points by gathering gold cats, which are worth 2 points each, and other colored cats, which are worth 1 point each. Certain combinations, like a blue and red cat pair, are especially valuable, so players need to stay focused and think ahead to come out on top.
