Description

In Valletta, you'll take on the role of a builder tasked with constructing your own version of the magnificent capital of Malta. Inspired by Jean Parisot de Valette, the 49th Grand Master of the Order of Malta, you'll gather raw materials, hire skilled workers like merchants, bricklayers, and roofers, and build a city with impressive bastions, beautiful baroque buildings, and a well-planned street network. As you work to build your city, you'll need to manage your resources and contacts with the Order of Malta to improve your reputation. But be warned, de Valette is keeping an eye on your progress, patrolling the streets as a building inspector. The game ends when his patrol is complete, and the player with the most impressive city will be declared the winner. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 40 to 80 minutes, Valletta is a fun and challenging game for 2 to 4 players.
