Donburiko is a quick and simple card game that's all about grabbing acorns while avoiding ponds. Based on the classic children's nursery song "Donguri Korokoro", the game is set in a world where acorns roll down hills into ponds, and players must navigate this environment to collect points. With a playtime of just 15 minutes, Donburiko is perfect for a fast-paced game night with friends or family, and its simple rules make it easy to learn and explain. In Donburiko, players start with a few chips and take turns placing cards or claiming columns of cards. The deck is made up of acorns, ponds, and loaches, each with its own point value, and players must strategically use these cards to earn chips. With two to four players, the game is highly interactive, and players must think carefully about when to take risks and when to play it safe. The game ends when the bank empties or a player reaches 20 chips, and the player with the most chips wins.
