In Cargo Noir, you'll take on the role of a family trafficking in smuggled goods in a 1950s noir setting. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 5 players can dive into this economic game, navigating various ports like Hong Kong, Bombay, and New York to get their hands on valuable cargo. Each turn, you'll make an offer for the goods on display, but be prepared to up your bid if another family tries to outdo you. As you collect goods, you can trade them in to expand your fleet, purchase Victory Spoils, or take other actions to get ahead. The more goods you collect, the more valuable they become. With a playtime of 30 to 90 minutes, Cargo Noir is a thrilling game of auction, set collection, and worker placement that's all about being the most cunning and successful smuggler.
