Description

Hoplomachus: The Lost Cities is a tactical board game where one to three players compete as ancient cities thought to be lost, now vying for a spot in the prestigious arena games. The goal is simple: eliminate the opponent's champion, but it's not easy. Champions start defenseless and need the crowd's support to fight. Players draw, play, and move gladiators, using tactic chips to assist them. As players take turns, they must adjust their strategies based on their opponents' moves. The game is all about making tactical decisions, such as defending your champion, taking over crowd favor areas, or eliminating enemy tacticians. With a mix of combat, tactics, and chip management, Hoplomachus offers endless possibilities for players to outmaneuver each other. The game's complexity is normal, making it easy for board game enthusiasts to learn and dive into the action, which typically lasts around 60 minutes.
