El Gaucho

Description

In El Gaucho, you're a cattle baron sending your gauchos to the Pampa to collect the best cattle. The game is easy to learn and plays out over about 60 minutes with 2 to 4 players. Your gauchos' abilities are put to the test at the dice rodeo, where the better they do, the easier it is to catch cattle in the field. You'll need to be smart and strategic, using your gauchos to snatch valuable cattle from under your opponents' noses or even abduct one of their animals. As you collect cattle tiles, you'll sort them by race and assemble them into herds to sell later for as many Pesos as possible. The goal is to collect sets of tiles in ascending or descending order, with each set containing only tiles of the same race. With a mix of dice rolling, set collection, and worker placement, El Gaucho is a fun and engaging game that's all about outmaneuvering your opponents and building the most valuable herd.
