Description

In Wilderness, you're dropped into the middle of nowhere with nothing but your wits to keep you alive. Your goal is to reach the nearest civilized village, but it's not going to be easy. With 2 to 8 players racing to get there first, you'll have to navigate treacherous terrain, avoid deadly predators, and manage your thirst, hunger, and exhaustion levels. Every turn, your needs become more pressing, and if you don't find food, water, and rest, you'll be in serious trouble. The game is designed by Thomas Fryxelius and has been streamlined to be easy to learn, making it accessible to a wide range of players. As you journey through the wilderness, the game board is gradually revealed, with each landscape tile presenting new challenges and opportunities. With six turns each day, including two night turns, you'll have to adapt to changing circumstances and make the most of your limited resources. You'll also have to use your action points wisely, managing your hand of cards to help yourself or hinder your opponents. With multiple ways to play, including a shorter easy version and a longer challenging version, Wilderness offers a unique experience every time. First published in 2011, this game has been refined to provide an exciting adventure for all players, and with its modular board and dice rolling mechanics, it's an thrilling experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
