Description

Lost Cities is a thrilling card game designed by Reiner Knizia, where two players embark on archaeological expeditions to uncover hidden treasures. The game is easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to players of all skill levels. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, you can dive into the world of exploration and math, using hand management and set collection to outscore your opponent. As you play, you'll need to balance risk and reward, using "handshakes" to invest in your expeditions and cards to build up their value. With each expedition starting at a value of -20, you'll need to strategically play your cards to turn a profit. The game continues until the final card is drawn, and then players score their expeditions, with multipliers and bonuses adding an extra layer of excitement to the game.
