Description

In Gunshi: The Art of Strategy, two tacticians engage in a battle of wits, each trying to infiltrate or capture the other's Shogun. This strategic game, similar to Chess or Shogi, requires players to send messages to and from the battlefield, causing a delay in actions being taken. The key to victory lies in mastering the special command, the Chain Message, which allows pieces to advance together. With only 3 types of troops - infantry, cavalry, and archers - each with unique moving styles and abilities, players must protect and hide their Shogun, disguised as a troop, to prevent capture. The game is easy to learn, and a typical playtime of 30 to 60 minutes makes it a great fit for a fun evening with a friend.
