Description
In Night of the Grand Octopus, you're part of a secret cult trying to bring about the return of a powerful sea creature. The time is right, the stars are aligned, and you need to gather magical components to perform the Ritual of Appeal. These components can be found in a famous English university, but you're not the only one searching for them. You'll need to navigate the university, placing your cultist and monster tokens in strategic locations to gain strength and outmaneuver your opponents. The game is quick, lasting only 20 minutes, and is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players. With 3 to 5 players, the competition is fierce, and you'll need to use bluffing and simultaneous action selection to get ahead. Will you be the one to successfully perform the Ritual of Appeal and bring the Grand Octopus back to power, or will your opponents outsmart you?
