Description

Micro Cosmos: New Worlds and Old Authorities is an exciting expansion to the base game Micro Cosmos, offering a fresh layer of gameplay for 1 to 4 players. With two new modules, NEW WORLDS and OLD AUTHORITIES, players can mix and match to create a unique experience, whether played separately or together for deeper gameplay. The NEW WORLDS module shakes things up by allowing survivors to be sent to new planets, gaining points and benefits without waiting for terraforming, while the OLD AUTHORITIES module introduces Councils that players must work to appease, earning special abilities to use every turn. This expansion also includes a solo campaign mode, where you embark on a multi-chapter adventure as the captain of a worn-down ark, unlocking upgrades and new ships as you progress. Each scenario presents new twists and challenges, with a special card system determining the length and tasks of each game session. As you complete tasks, you earn experience points to upgrade your ark, and your progress is easily saved in a dedicated booklet, allowing you to pick up where you left off anytime. With simple rules and a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, Micro Cosmos: New Worlds and Old Authorities is a great addition to the base game, offering a fun and engaging experience for fans of science fiction and space exploration.
