Description

In Hippo, players take turns rolling dice to get rid of their buoy chips by strategically placing them in Mr. Hippo's swimming pool. The pool is divided into numbered lanes, with lane 7 being Mr. Hippo's special basin. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 4 players can dive into the fun in no time, enjoying a quick 15 to 20 minute game. Rolling three dice, players decide how to use their values, either separately or added up. If a player rolls a 7, they get to play again, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game. But watch out, as chips can be kicked out of the pool if a lane is full and a player tries to place another chip there. Designed by Martin Nedergaard Andersen and published in 2017, Hippo combines dice rolling and modular board mechanics for a fun and unpredictable experience that's perfect for families and friends who love animals and sports.
