Description

Mouse Guard: Swords & Strongholds is a light strategy game for two players that's all about outmaneuvering your opponent. The game takes place on a 6-by-8 grid, where each player controls four mouse pawns and uses a deck of cards to move them around and capture their enemy's mice. The cards add a fun twist to the game, with options to move in L shapes, leap off the grid, or even switch places with an enemy mouse. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this 15 to 30 minute game is perfect for a quick showdown with a friend. Designed by Luke Crane and published in 2015, Mouse Guard: Swords & Strongholds is an abstract strategy game that's easy to learn but challenging to master. The goal is to build a stronghold in one of the enemy corners or capture all enemy mice, and with the right combination of moves and card plays, you can emerge victorious.
