The goal is to become the most favored merchant among the guilds, and to do that, you'll need to strategically select which guilds to take actions in, limited by the number of agents you have. You'll buy and sell goods, hire guests with special abilities, and try to earn the loyalty of the guild masters. As you play, you'll amass craftsmen, crests, money, and townsmen, all of which will contribute to your overall influence.
