Description
In the kingdom of Emara, King Thedorius the Wise has created a era of peace and prosperity, and now he's looking for a worthy successor. To find the next king, Thedorius and his counselors have issued a challenge: whoever can win the support of the majority of the citizens in the capital will wear the Crown of Emara. This means catering to the citizens' needs and providing them with proper housing, which requires promoting building activities in town. Players must carefully plan their turns, combining card actions with worker movement actions to optimize their moves. With two counselors moving in separate roundabouts, players need to think ahead to advance their scores equally on two tracks, as only the lower score counts towards victory. This multidimensional playstyle makes for a engaging and challenging game that's easy to learn, but hard to master, making Crown of Emara a great experience for 1 to 4 players.
