Description

In echoes: Die Violine, you and up to five friends are tasked with solving a mysterious case by decoding a secret code, all within the span of 60 minutes. This cooperative game, designed by Matthew Dunstan and Dave Neale, and published in 2022, is an immersive experience that combines deduction, storytelling, and electronic elements to create a unique and thrilling adventure. Using a free app, you'll listen to mysterious noises and voices connected to the game's material, working together to bring the story parts in order and solve the case. As you play, you'll assemble the 24 parts of the story in the right order, with each part represented by an object, such as a game board or card, and its associated echo. The story is divided into six chapters, each represented by a game board, and by scanning the objects with the app, you'll hear the echo connected with each object, using conversations and noises to figure out which object cards are associated with a chapter and in which order they should be placed. With the game's normal complexity level, fans of board games will have no issue learning the rules and diving into the mystery. As you progress, the objects themselves will provide clues, so be sure to pay attention to every detail to uncover the truth and solve the case.
