Description
One False Step Home is the exciting expansion to the original game, One False Step for Mankind, where the goal is to send a few lucky astronauts back home with the help of some friendly Moon Men. This expansion is designed for 3 to 6 players and can be played in about 120 minutes, which is a big reduction from the original game's three-hour playtime. The rules are still easy to learn, making it simple for new players to jump in and start playing right away. The expansion introduces some new twists to the original game, including the ability for people to be produced by Moon Caves, which adds a new layer of strategy to the game. Gone are the rocket systems and know-how, replaced by smaller rockets that players can purchase and launch multiple times per turn. Each successful launch earns players an influence chip, plus an extra chip for every passenger they manage to send back home. This new system makes the game more fast-paced and exciting, as players can launch multiple rockets and try to outdo their opponents. The new Moon-colored boards that come with the expansion also add to the excitement, providing a fresh and updated look to the game. With One False Step Home, players get to experience the thrill of sending astronauts back to Earth, all while navigating the challenges and obstacles that the Moon and its friendly inhabitants throw their way. Since it was first published in 2004, designed by the renowned game designer James Ernest, this expansion has been a hit with fans of the original game, and is a great way to breathe new life into an already exciting experience.
