Get ready to join the Night Parade of a Hundred Yokai like never before with the Cursed Throne Expansion. It's been 200 years since King Enma disappeared, and the yokai clans have been vying for power ever since. The problem is, the throne is cursed, feeding on the ruler's power and causing their magic to fade away. As a result, the gates to the spirit realm are in danger of being closed forever, threatening to erase the legend of the yokai. In this expansion, 1 to 4 players can join the rebellion, taking on the challenge of claiming the throne and breaking the curse. With the Cursed Throne Expansion, players can expect a fresh wave of excitement and challenge. The new Reign action changes its effect based on which clan sits on the throne, adding a layer of strategy and unpredictability to the game. The introduction of Spirit wooden tokens, Champions, and the Challenge board also shakes things up, offering new ways to build your deck, bag, and pool, and exert your influence over the yokai world.
