Get ready to introduce a whole new level of strategy to your games of Volfyirion or Volfyirion Guilds with the Omen Expansion. Designed by Alessandro Veracchi and released in 2021, this expansion brings a new type of card to the table, aptly named the Omen, which allows you to build a long-term strategy that can really shake things up. By collecting signs and making sacrifices, you can unlock powerful effects that can give you an edge over your opponent in this 2-player game. The Omen cards are all about set collection, so you'll need to gather specific combinations of cards to trigger their abilities. These cards, called Signs, can be added or removed during the game, offering plenty of opportunities for direct interaction with your opponent and adding a new layer of depth to the game. The best part is that the rules are simple and easy to learn, so you can dive right in and start playing, even if you're new to the series. With a playtime of just 20 to 40 minutes, you can fit in a quick game whenever you want, and the combination of deck, bag, and pool building mechanics ensures that each game will be unique and exciting. As an expansion, Volfyirion Guilds: Omen Expansion isn't a standalone game, but it can be combined with either Volfyirion or Volfyirion Guilds for a thrilling 1vs1 experience. And if you're feeling really adventurous, you can even combine it with another expansion for an even more challenging experience - just be sure not to combine more than two expansions at once, or things might get a little too crazy.
