Description
In the city, the Old Don is the one in charge, and you're just trying to make a name for yourself as a member of the 13th Street Crew. You're at the bottom of the organization, but there are plenty of opportunities to prove your worth and rise through the ranks. The thing is, one of your fellow crew members might be secretly working against you as a police informant. The 13th Street Crew is a game of strategy and deception, where you'll have to navigate the risks and rewards of working with your fellow players to complete jobs and earn money for the organization. As you play, you'll be negotiating with each other to join forces on various jobs, from meeting with politicians to doing favors for the Old Don himself. Each job requires different resources, but the rewards can be big, including cash, permanent assets, and one-time use abilities. However, the police are always watching, and every job comes with the risk of getting caught. When you're on a job, you'll secretly play a card that either gives the all clear or calls in the cops, and the police will also make their move, adding an element of unpredictability to the game. If the police show up, you'll lose all your resources and won't get any rewards, leaving you to wonder if it was just bad luck or if someone on your team is working against you. The goal of the game is to gain the Old Don's favor by making enough money for the organization, which can lead to a solo or joint victory. However, if the police manage to break up five jobs before that happens, the whole crew will lose. And if there is an informant among you, they can win the game by helping the police or by earning enough money on their own. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, The 13th Street Crew is a game that's easy to learn but challenging to master, and with playtimes ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, it's a great option for groups of 3 to 7 players looking for a fun and exciting experience.
