Description

Sea of Legends: Rise of the Ancients is an exciting expansion to the base game, offering a wealth of new content to dive into. With four new captains to play as, each with their own unique personality and abilities, you'll have even more opportunities to explore the high seas and take on rival factions. There's Grimwald, the cursed but unkillable captain, Jack, the ruthless and cunning leader, Matchlock, the gun-toting troublemaker, and Liu, the explosive and fiery commander. Each of these new captains brings a fresh perspective to the game, and can be mixed and matched with the base game captains and factions to create a truly personalized experience. The expansion also introduces four new factions to play against, each with their own sinister plans and motivations. The Ordo of Nocturnus seeks to infiltrate and summon a demon-prince, while the Aztec Reawakening curses players with negative effects. The Sea's Fury, a coven of sea witches, will stop at nothing to reclaim their stolen relics, and the Harpy's Descent will hunt down the player with the most Notoriety. With these new factions and captains, the game offers a thrilling adventure that can be enjoyed by 1 to 5 players, with playtime ranging from 40 to 160 minutes.
