Get ready to become an old-fashioned typesetter in the exciting new game Typeset, designed by Jasper Beatrix and published in 2024. In this fast-paced party game, you'll build words letter-by-letter to use on a printing press, planning and placing letters carefully to puzzle out a higher score. With a unique blend of push your luck, simultaneous action selection, and spelling mechanics, Typeset is easy to learn but challenging to master. As a consonant is randomly turned face-up on each turn, you'll need to think quickly to fit it into your word, using your bank of vowels to help out. As the game heats up, you'll need to balance risk and reward, deciding when to opt out and score your cards or chance another five letters that could either ruin everything or fit perfectly into place.
