As one of 2 to 4 players, you'll take on the role of a leader vying for control of the city, and the key to success lies in winning over the hearts and minds of its inhabitants. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be navigating the intricate web of alliances and relationships in no time, using your persuasion points to recruit influential figures and unite them to boost your popularity. As you navigate the crossroads, the hub of Ephios' political activity, you'll encounter a variety of characters, each with their own agenda and abilities. You'll need to strategically choose from four possible actions: recruit a figure to your cause, debate to earn more persuasion points, use a figure's effect to gain an advantage, or unite two figures from the same alliance to earn a popularity boost. With each turn, the crossroads will change, introducing new figures and challenges to overcome. Your goal is to be the first player to reach 70% popularity, and with two game modes to choose from - Classical and Campaign - you'll have plenty of opportunities to test your skills. In Campaign mode, you'll embark on a series of connected games, each with unique card variations and twists based on the outcome of the previous round. As you progress, you'll uncover more about the history of Ephios, meeting new figures and alliances along the way. With playtime ranging from 20 to 45 minutes, Ephios is the perfect game for a quick evening session or a longer, more immersive campaign.
